Anonymous: some of ur fav blogs?

Just some random faves off the top of my head:

Anonymous: favorite songs by Stevie Nicks ?

This is rude, anon. Rude. But, okay. Favorite songs Stevie wrote for Fleetwood Mac: Storms, Gold Dust Woman, Sara. Favorite Stevie solo: The Wild Heart and How Still My Love and everything on Bella Donna tbh.

Anonymous: Are there any good things to read about FM/Stevie? Like books or articles

Oh, God. Well this is the first article I read that really sent my casual appreciation for Stevie into, like, OVERWHELMING adoration. It’s just an all around fantastic article and a fabulous glimpse into her life. The Nicks Fix has an incredible archive of articles up for perusing. As for Fleetwood Mac as a whole, I’d recommend most of the features Rolling Stone did of the band. Book-wise, I’ve only read Ken Calliat’s Making Rumours (which was a little technical for me and not particularly interesting, aside from him claiming that Stevie hexed his dog) and Carol Ann Harris’ Storms: My Life With Lindsey Buckingham (which I only recommend if you’re a fan looking to read some trashy gossip. Which I am, so I enjoyed it for the laughs, but it is in no way a decent intro to the band or even a reliable source for info tbh). I have yet to read Mick’s autobiography, but it would obviously be something worth checking out. I would also really recommend taking a look at radio interviews, especially the interviews Stevie has done throughout the years with Jim Ladd. And, of course, Youtube is an invaluable source for biographies/interviews of the band. There really is just an OVERWHELMING amount of stuff out there, really and at this point I’ve read/watched so much that it can be difficult to remember the sources.  Feel free to come off anon and we can discuss this more and I can even hook you up with more links if you’re interested :)

Anonymous: do you have a twitter?

Not anymore. I had one a few years back, but struggled with being witty and fabulous in under 140 characters and ended up deleting it. I’ve been toying with the idea of trying again, but eh…
